RedHat online extension for Chrome and FireFox
This is an announcement that we have launched another web extension.

RedHat online is a web browser extension to run Fedora, CentOS, Oracle Linux, OpenSUSE and Mandriva using only a web browser. App available in the Chrome web store and Firefox marketplace:

Run online Linux RedHat versions using your web browser. This extension provides the following OSs: Fedora, CentOS, Oracle Linux, OpenSUSE and Mandriva. All of them run using an integration with our "OnWorks" free servers hosting provider:
1. This Fedora online is the common
Fedora workstation, which is the RedHat main project, a free
community-based distro focused on quick releases of new features and
functionality. It covers software distributed under free and open-source
licenses. Fedora is the main source of the economic Red Hat Enterprise
Linux distribution. What it is good about Fedora is that its focus is
the innovation, integrating the latest technologies. The default desktop
background in Fedora is GNOME and the default user interface is the
GNOME Shell.
2. This CentOS online is the common
CentOS workstation, which can be considered as the RedHat community
version. We can consider both RedHat and CentOS as identical, but CentOS
is free and its support comes from the community as opposed to RedHat
itself. It means that CentOS allows people to use RHEL without having to
pay for the support package. Any packages made for RHEL will work in
CentOS. As the name suggests, CentOS is an enterprise distribution, and
although RHEL is based off of Fedora, it’s package selection is much
oriented to enterprise software. It is one of the most popular Linux
distributors in the hosting industry.
3. This OpenSUSE online is a RedHat OS
version but it is known for making an important change compared to other
Linux distributions because it uses the KDE desktop as its default
desktop environment rather than GNOME. Moreover, OpenSUSE also includes a
lot of free software, but we must say that it does not have an
innovative focus on it as Fedora does. It must be also noted that that
although Fedora, CentOS, ... and openSUSE use .rpm files for packages,
it does not mean that all these .rpm packages work in openSUSE, and vice
versa.
4. This Mandriva online is another RedHat
based OS but it has a pragmatic distribution that tries to provide a
better user experience for everyone, from newbies to developers. Its
vision is to have a balance between most modern features and stability.
Its roots are in Mandrake.
